Roblox Global Goals Challenge is a global Roblox competition jointly organized by Kodecoon Academy and Roblox Corporation. The aim of the competition is to raise awareness and educate the participants on relevant issues related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through game creation on the Roblox platform.

Through creativity and problem-solving, participants can make a positive impact on the community with topics like climate change, poverty, education, and more. Join the challenge to raise awareness and contribute to a better world, one game at a time.

Open to participants age 7 and above.

Kode It Sparkies! Competition

Kode It Sparkies is an exciting hackathon organized by Kodecoon Academy. The Esports Kodecoon Cup is a thrilling esports tournament jointly organized by Kodecoon Academy and the Singapore Cybersports & Online Game Association (SCOGA). The tournament serves two primary purposes: raising awareness and educating participants and the community about the esports gaming industry and providing students with valuable digital literacy and soft skills through competitive gaming.

By combining the excitement of esports with the educational focus on digital literacy and soft skills development, the Esports Kodecoon Cup empowers students to explore the potential of the gaming industry. The tournament not only offers a competitive gaming experience but also serves as a valuable learning opportunity, equipping participants with the skills needed to thrive in the evolving landscape of technology and entertainment.

National/International Competitions

FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) is an international STEM and robotics competition for students that introduces young learners to coding, engineering, and problem-solving through hands-on challenges using LEGO robots. Organized by FIRST® in partnership with the LEGO Group, students work in teams to design, build, and program robots to complete missions while also researching real-world problems and presenting innovative solutions. Through this experience, students develop important STEM skills, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking, while gaining opportunities to participate in international competitions and global learning experiences.

World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a global robotics competition for students aged around 8–19 that encourages young people to develop skills in robotics, coding, engineering, and problem-solving through hands-on challenges. In teams, students design, build, and program robots to complete tasks or create innovative robotic solutions to real-world problems. With competitions held in more than 95 countries worldwide, WRO provides students with opportunities to apply their STEM knowledge, collaborate in teams, and gain valuable international competition experience and global exposure.

Hwa Chong Info-Communications Challenge (HCIC)
